The following pictures detail a second floor addition of a summer home in Falmouth. The picture on the right shows the house before the addition. The picture below is the front view of the house with the new second floor addition. The photograph at the bottom-right corner displays another angle of the house with the newly added second floor with ‘WeatherBest Decking’ installed above the carport.

What began as a simple remodeling situation evolved into a complete tear-down and new construction of this Seacoast Shores house. The pictures, above, are of the house on the shore, prior to the new construction and transformed it into a completely different house. The upper-left photo is a picture of the rear view of the house prior to the build; the upper-right is the front view of the same house before the build. The lower-left picture is the front view after the construction, and the lower-right photo is the rear view of the newly transformed house.

Here is a house that underwent a complete tear-down and new construction. What originated as a summer cottage, turned into a beautiful home that overlooks the salt marshes in scenic Hyannis. The house has the look and feel of a traditional Cape Cod cedar-shingled home, yet has a more modern appearance and now can be used as a year-round residence.
